Career Accomplishments

  • Studied part-time while working in Advertising at The Toronto Star and then went on to work for digital ad agencies both in Toronto and Europe.
  • While living in Tokyo, started a blog about ethical fashion and sustainable living which became a book and later led to a part-time faculty position at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
  • Currently working on a second book.

One of my favourite classes was “Sociology of Aids” – which introduced me to Malcolm Gladwell and the concept of tipping point, which inspired me to explore that concept against the backdrop of consumer products (and marketing) and climate change.
